From Basketball Coach to Trainee, Michael Courtwright

Before I came to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim, my direction and focus was centered on basketball coaching. As a coach you see that the best and most useful players to the team are the ones who have received the best training and teaching. As I was coaching, I was also pursuing to be a good Christian who would be a proper model to others. The more I pursued, the more faults, lacks, and holes there were in my daily Christian living. As I encouraged and stressed to the players to pursue excellence, I felt I needed to get the best training and teaching to be a proper Christian who would represent and express Christ, my Savior not only to my players but also to others.

I can testify that the Full-Time Training developed by Witness Lee has given me what I desire. Lee's writings and experience of Christ have helped me to the uttermost to experience Christ, touch my human spirit, and prepare myself for the daily, practical Christian life. After going through two years of the Training my hunger, appetite, desire, and goals are to experience, see, know, and gain more of Jesus Christ whom I love more now than at any point in my life. I believe that the Full-Time Training is the best place to receive the best training for any and all Christians who love the Lord.
